Environment, Health and Safety Policy

Scope
This Policy applies to all employees and trainees, and, unless the context requires otherwise, to consultants and contractors engaged with the Company (collectively referred to as “Employees” for the purposes of this Policy).
Authority Concerned
For any questions or concerns regarding this Policy, Employees may contact the HR Team.
Objective
This Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) Policy outlines the Company’s commitment to maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. The Company aims to ensure that all Employees are able to carry out their duties in an environment that promotes well-being, sustainability, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
General Guidelines
Employees are expected to:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within all Company premises.
- Handle Company assets responsibly and refrain from unauthorized use.
- Conduct activities in a manner that minimizes risk of harm or injury to oneself or others.
The Company is committed to complying with all applicable environmental, health, safety, and sustainability laws. Risk assessments and job hazard analyses may be conducted periodically to identify and address potential hazards in the workplace. Employees are encouraged to report unsafe or unhealthy conditions promptly to enable timely corrective action.
Communicable Disease Protocols
Employees must adhere to the health and safety protocols issued by the Company from time to time in relation to communicable diseases, including COVID-19.
- Vaccination against COVID-19 and other communicable diseases is encouraged.
- Non-vaccinated Employees may be required to follow additional precautionary measures, as per Company guidelines and applicable law.
Behavioral Health and Wellbeing
The Company recognizes the importance of mental health and overall wellbeing. To support Employees, the Company may offer:
- Paid time off and flexible work arrangements;
- Access to a safe space for raising concerns related to wellbeing.
Employees are encouraged to reach out to their manager or the HR Team in case of any concerns affecting their health or workplace experience. The Company’s anti-discrimination, anti-harassment, and grievance redressal mechanisms remain available at all times.
Employees are also expected to proactively inform the HR Team or their reporting manager about any health conditions (physical or mental) that may require support, accommodations, or special attention while at work. This enables the Company to make reasonable adjustments and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all Employees.
Pets at the Workplace
Pets are not permitted at the workplace to ensure a clean and safe environment for all Employees.
Office Building Safety
All Employees must comply with relevant safety procedures and building regulations to ensure a secure workplace.
Sustainability Guidelines
The Company endeavors to minimize its environmental impact and encourages the following practices:
- Responsible usage of natural and office resources;
- Turning off lights, fans, and other electrical equipment when not in use;
- Minimizing paper use and promoting digital documentation, where legally and practically feasible;
- Preferring virtual meetings to reduce travel where possible;
- Segregating waste and promoting recycling initiatives;
- Avoiding single-use plastic items and encouraging reusable alternatives;
- Fostering a culture of environmental responsibility among team members.
Review and Amendment
This Policy may be reviewed and updated periodically by the Company to reflect evolving business, legal, or environmental requirements. Employees shall be provided reasonable notice in the event of any material changes.
